| Grades |

The right grade for every application:
Oxygen-bearing Grades
achieve particularly high purity and conductivity. The oxygen content is mostly adjusted to between 100 and 200 ppm.

Oxygen-free Grades
BE copper as NA's phosphorus-deoxidized specialty product offers total hydrogen resistance with high conductivity and a narrow margin of tolerance. These oxygen-free grades are characterised by very good workability as well as very good brazing and welding properties.
OF copper with maximum conductivity and vacuum resistance is produced by means of a process developed by NA which does not use metallic or metalloidic deoxidization agents. These grades are likewise fully hydrogen resistant and thus have excellent welding and brazing properties.

High purity oxygen-free copper materials
We also offer high-purity copper materials for special applications, e.g. superconductor technology or PVD processes. Please let us know your requirements.
Alloying with Silver
For applications, for which a high recrystallisation temperature is required, we alloy silver of between 200 g/t and 2000 g/t into the aforementioned grades. The electrical conductivity is only slightly reduced by high silver contents (e.g. with 1200 g/t Ag: max. 0.5 m/ mm²)
Phosphorus-bearing Grades
by being alloyed with phosphorus have good brazing and welding properties and are corrosion resistant. They are therefore preferred for the fabrication of industrial and installation pipes just as roof and facade sheeting.

Other Alloys
CuSn0.15 or CuFe0.1P are examples for low-alloyed copper from NA's plants for applications in the electronics sector. Especially on the basis of OF-copper there is potential to produce or to develop further low-alloyed grades in collaboration with our customers.
