Copper concentrates consisting to 30% each of copper, sulphur and iron are NA`s most important raw material. The three double absorption contact acid plants which are continuously operated by
our highly-qualified engineers
ensure that more than 99.6% of the sulphur feed is processed into sulphuric acid. Due to this high degree of
cleaning we avoid hazardous environmental pollution,such as acid rain, and thus actively practise environmental protection. Our certified Environmental Management complies with EU Eco-Audit Directive no. 761/2001 and has been included in the EMAS Register.
Our production output of about 1.1 million tonnes makes us the most important sulphuric acid supplier on the European market. |
